If you live in Hastings or are visiting, there are several transportation options to help you get around town and beyond. While Hastings doesn’t have a large fixed-route bus network like big cities, several useful services provide mobility, especially for seniors, people without transportation or those needing occasional rides. From well-maintained streets to convenient parking and public transportation options, our goal is to provide safe, efficient and accessible travel for everyone.

This is a community circulator or dial-a-ride service operated by DARTS, running a loop around Hastings on Tuesdays. This circulator bus operates on a loop around the City with scheduled stops and the flexibility to request a stop nearby. This service operates every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Transit Link is the Twin Cities dial-a-ride minibus or van service for the general public, where regular route transit service is not available. (ADA service is provided by Metro Mobility, or by calling 651-602-1111.) For more information about Transit Link, call 651.602.LINK or transitlink@metc.state.mn.us

This service provided by the Metropolitan Council in the seven-county metro area.

Call Transit Link weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to reserve a ride.

Hours of Service: 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fares are based on the distance traveled.

Transit Link On Demand is available in Hastings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Cost is only $1/ride and rides can be booked using the Metro Micro app or by calling Transit Link at 651-602-5465

Just Friends Transportation is offered through Hastings Family Service is available for ride requests to medical appointments, dental appointments, grocery shopping, and county appointments. To make a request for a volunteer driver, please call 651-437-7134 by Wednesday the week prior to the appointment. 

Kurtesy Ride operates in Hastings and surrounding communities. Services are available during established business hours. Fees may vary.
