2026 Adult Organized Pickup Soccer
Hastings Parks & Recreation is excited to offer Adult Organized Pickup Soccer - a weekly recreational soccer opportunity for adults ages 25 and older.
No team required. Players of all skill levels welcome as we strive for a recreation environment focused on exercise, social connection and fun.
Details
- Who: Co-ed, Ages 25 and Older, All Skill Levels Welcome
- Dates: Wednesdays, June 10 - August 12
- Times: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
- Location: Veterans Park, Field 7
- Online Registration: $20/player for the season (register any time before or during the season, you do not need to attend every night, come when you can)

What to Expect
- Players organized into new teams nightly
- 7 v 7 on U11/12 sized fields
- 15-minute games throughout the evening
- Goalkeepers used with an emphasis on everyone taking a turn in goal
- Self-officiated play (see rules below)
- Equipment provided by Parks & Recreation:
- Game balls
- Pinnies
- Field markers
- Ball pump
- First aid kit
What To Bring
- Athletic clothing
- Soccer cleats or athletic shoes
- Water (no water on site)
- Shin guards strongly recommended
Rules
- No metal cleats
- No slide tackling opponents
- No offsides
- All free kicks are direct
- No punting or drop kicks
- Goalkeepers may dive for saves but dangerous sliding challenges are prohibited
- Rolling substitutions at midfield (similar to indoor soccer)
- Players should rotate substitutes and goalkeepers fairly
- Reckless, dangerous, or overly aggressive play is not permitted
- Respect all players and help create a welcoming environment
