Comprehensive Plan

The 2040 Comprehensive Plan establishes Hastings’ vision for the growth and development over the next 20 years.  Policies on land use, transportation, parks and public utilities are part of the Comprehensive Plan.  The Plan was developed through community input and adopted by the City Council in 2020.  Comprehensive Plans are updated every ten years.
