Council Workshops
A City Council workshop is an informal meeting where Council Members discuss specific topics or upcoming issues in greater depth. Unlike regular City Council meetings, workshops are typically held for information-sharing, brainstorming and preliminary discussions, without formal votes or final decisions. These sessions allow for open dialogue between Council Members and staff, helping guide future policy decisions and ensuring informed governance.
Workshops may be scheduled ahead of regular meetings at 5:30 p.m. Special meetings may be called for other times.
Workshops are not televised but are open to the public.
For the latest schedule; check the City Council and Commissions Calendar.
