The City Administrator is responsible for ensuring that those directives are carried out in an efficient, effective, and responsive manner. Hastings’ Interim City Administrator is Julie Flaten. Julie has been with the organization since 2007, serving in a number of roles before being appointed in January 2019 as Interim City Administrator. Julie plans to return to her role as Administrative Services Director when the City Administrator hiring process is complete.
