Setting Up Your Collection Service
Hastings uses one hauler for residential recycling and trash. City Code 50.07 requires all homes with four (4) or fewer units to use the City's hauler, Tennis Sanitation. To set up service, contact Tennis Sanitation at 651-459-1887. You can also visit the Tennis Sanitation Website. Businesses and residences with more than four units can use any City-licensed haulers.
Collection Reminders

Collection takes place Monday to Saturday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Put out your containers the night before your collection day or by 6:00 a.m.

Visit the Tennis Sanitation website for their yearly holiday hauling schedule.

Containers should be within 2 feet of the curb and 3 - 4 feet away from all objects, including other carts.
Tennis Sanitation brings all trash to the Recycling and Energy Center in Newport, MN. There, the waste is burned and turned into energy.
Setting Up Collection Service Outside City Limits
If you live outside Hastings, contact your Township Clerk. They can help you with information about licensed haulers. If you are in Dakota County, you can also contact a waste hauler directly.
