Snow Plowing and Ice Control Policy

When it snows or gets icy, the City of Hastings has a plan to keep our roads safe. You can read the full Snow Plowing and Ice Control Policy to learn what the city does during winter weather.

At the end of the policy, there’s a map that shows the streets the city plows first. These are called priority plow routes. They include major roads, hills and areas near schools and hospitals.
