Getting Around Hastings
If you live in Hastings or are visiting, there are several transportation options to help you get around town and beyond. While Hastings doesn’t have a large fixed-route bus network like big cities, several useful services provide mobility, especially for seniors, people without transportation or those needing occasional rides. From well-maintained streets to convenient parking and public transportation options, our goal is to provide safe, efficient and accessible travel for everyone.
Local Transit Services
The LOOP
This is a community circulator or dial-a-ride service operated by DARTS, running a loop around Hastings on Tuesdays. This circulator bus operates on a loop around the City with scheduled stops and the flexibility to request a stop nearby. This service operates every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Transit Link
Transit Link is the Twin Cities dial-a-ride minibus or van service for the general public, where regular route transit service is not available. (ADA service is provided by Metro Mobility, or by calling 651-602-1111.) For more information about Transit Link, call 651.602.LINK or transitlink@metc.state.mn.us
This service provided by the Metropolitan Council in the seven-county metro area.

Hours of Service: 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Fares are based on the distance traveled.
Just Friends Transportation
Just Friends Transportation is offered through Hastings Family Service is available for ride requests to medical appointments, dental appointments, grocery shopping, and county appointments. To make a request for a volunteer driver, please call 651-437-7134 by Wednesday the week prior to the appointment.
