Do I Need a Special Event Permit?
A Special Event Permit is required for activities that occur on public property or impact City streets, parks, sidewalks or public safety resources. This may include:

Festivals and community celebrations

Large gatherings
-
Events requiring street closures or traffic control
-
Amplified sound, tents or temporary structures
If your event affects City services, uses City-owned spaces or draws a large crowd, you will likely need a permit.
How to Apply
To host a special event, applicants must complete the City’s Special Event Permit process. Applications should be submitted at least 60 days in advance to ensure proper review and coordination.
