Outdoor Rinks and Warming Houses

All warming houses and outdoor ice rinks will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, January 22, due to forecasted wind chills below -25 degrees or actual temps below -10 degrees. Warming houses and outdoor ice rinks will re-open at noon on Saturday, January 24.

Warming Houses & Outdoor Ice Rinks are open for the season but may temporarily close due to poor ice or weather conditions. Call our hotline at 651-480-2392 for weather-related closures or text Cityrinks to 651-249-9255 to receive text updates.

Regular Hours

  • Monday - Friday: 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Sundays: 12:00 - 8:00 p.m.

No School Days & Holiday Hours

  • No School Days: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Christmas Eve: Closed
  • Christmas Day: Closed
  • New Years Eve: 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.
  • New Years Day: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.
  • President's Day: 12:00 - 9:00 p.m.

  1. Follow all directions given by Warming House Attendants.
  2. No smoking, tobacco products, vaping, or e-cigarettes.
  3. No profanity or obscene language.
  4. No hockey on recreational rinks. (exception at Pioneer)
  5. No shooting pucks or balls at buildings or inside warming houses.
  6. No horseplay or fighting. 
  7. No throwing snow on rinks or inside warming houses.
  8. Sleds, strollers, or other obstructions are not allowed on the ice.
  9. Stay clear of operating maintenance vehicles. 

Warming houses are available for rent before or after hours of operation (see Hours of Operations).

If you are interested in renting a warming house, please fill out the rental form and return it to the Parks & Recreation Department or email it to the Sports & Recreation Coordinator.
