Get ready for a fun and eco-friendly way to celebrate this Halloween! Join us for our Halloween Costume Swap—bring your gently used costumes and find something new to wear for this spooky season! No donation is required to participate—just come ready to browse and swap.
Please ensure that any items you bring are in fair condition, clean, and usable. Event staff reserve the right to refuse any items. Can’t attend but have items to donate ahead of time? This is a fun, family-friendly event for all ages. Plus, you'll be helping reduce waste and make Halloween even more special by swapping instead of shopping. Let’s make this Halloween the most sustainable (and stylish) one yet!
The Hastings Fire Department Open House will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hastings Fire Department, located at 115 5th Street West.
Come meet your local firefighters and EMS providers, explore the equipment they use, and watch live demonstrations on kitchen fire safety and auto extrication. You can also practice your home fire escape plan when the smoke alarm sounds.
In addition, many other public safety partners will be on hand to visit with and learn from throughout the evening. We hope you'll join us for this fun, educational, and family-friendly event!
