Hastings Arts Community

The City of Hastings is committed to supporting community arts and the creative class.  In Hastings you'll find a number of murals, galleries, and the Black Dirt performing arts theatre.

Hastings is the home to ArtSpace River Lofts which provides affordable housing and commercial space to local artists.  This project is a shining example of the communities dedication to the arts and bringing together partners including the Metropolitan Council and Dakota County Community Development Agency to turn what was contaminated land into a community asset.  View a video of the development project process and the development partners.
