The Hastings Economic Development and Redevelopment Authority has approved land sale and the Hastings City Council has approved all necessary land use entitlements to support a new market rate apartment project that would be located at the intersection of Tyler Street and 3rd Street E. 

The 32 unit apartment is anticipated to begin construction in spring of 2023 with construction completion anticipated in the summer of 2024.  The City is excited for this new housing product to be introduced into the historic downtown.
