Intek Plastic's is currently planning for a 60,000 square foot expansion to its existing 126,000 sq ft space.  This project is anticipated to have a total private investment of 8 million dollars and create 46 new full time jobs.  Construction will begin in the spring of 2023.

The City of Hastings supported this project in the form of a sale of 3.1 acres of land as well as facilitation of applications to the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) and Job Creation Fund (JCF) both of which are provided by the State of Minnesota.  The City of Hastings is proud that Intek has selected its Hastings location for their business expansion.
