Heritage Preservation Commission Vacancy
HASTINGS HERITAGE PRESERVATION COMMISSION SEEKS APPLICANTS
Residents of the City of Hastings with a commitment to the preservation of the community’s historical and architectural heritage are encouraged to apply. The commission seeks members with interest, training, or experience in building preservation, history, architecture, landscape architecture, archaeology, urban studies, planning, or law.
The Heritage Preservation Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month. The Commission considers changes to designated historic properties, nominates properties to the National Register of Historic Places and as local Heritage Preservation Sites. It also advises the City and property owners on preservation matters.
