    • HPD Officer Earns Top Spot in Drug Recognition

      The Hastings Police Department is proud to announce that Officer Geoff Latsch recently graduated from Drug Recognition Expert Training school as the top student. A DRE officer is trained to recognize impairment in drivers under the influence of drugs.

    • Hastings Teens Help Save a Life

      On the morning of Friday, January 12, two Hastings High School students on their way to school discovered an unresponsive person lying on the ground in below zero weather. The duo stopped, called 911, and gave CPR to the patient. Their quick response saved a life today. Thanks to Sydney and Addie!

    • Help us Build A Park

      You are invited to attend a community meeting on Tuesday, January 30th, to help plan a playground replacement at Lions Park. The City was recently awarded a matching grant from the MNDNR for outdoor recreation. Your input will help us plan the design for this and future playgrounds in Hastings.
